Nozzle It All Web In development
Nozzle It All Web is the whole Nozzle It All app, delivered through your browser. It isn't this website and it isn't a remote control for another app. It is built and being tested, and it isn't available to open yet. When it is, this page will link to it.
Slices on your device. No Nozzle account. No Nozzle cloud. The slicing engine runs inside your browser, so your models aren't uploaded anywhere. Projects are kept in your browser until you export them.
What you can do in it
- Create, import, open, save and organise projects.
- Arrange models on the plate, and pick the printer, materials and print settings: guided choices first, advanced settings when you want them.
- Slice with a progress bar and a Cancel button, then look through the result layer by layer with time and material estimates.
- Export the sliced file, or export the project as a standard 3MF that Nozzle It All for Desktop and for Android can open.
- Send jobs to your printer and watch it print, where your browser allows (see below).
- Install it from the browser and keep using it offline once it has loaded.
How it reaches your printers
Browsers deliberately limit what a web page may contact on your home network, and each browser does it differently. So the web app offers two routes, and tells you plainly which one works where you are:
- Directly, where your browser allows a secure page to talk to your printer, and your printer lists the web app as an allowed origin.
- Through Nozzle It All for Desktop on the same computer. Desktop can act as a local connector: it listens only on that computer, only answers the Nozzle web app, needs a one-time pairing code, and only talks to printers you added in Desktop.
Either way, printer traffic goes from your device to your printer. It never passes through a Nozzle server. Slicing, projects and export work without either route.
Which browsers
Slicing needs WebAssembly and a page your browser treats as isolated from other sites. Current Chrome, Edge and Firefox on desktop and Android are the target. Safari support depends on a slower single-threaded engine that isn't finished; the app says so when it can't slice rather than failing silently.
Printers
Snapmaker U1 printers running PAXX firmware are the primary target, and need no Snapmaker account or cloud. The browser can talk to Klipper printers directly (including the U1 and a Centauri Carbon on COSMOS); other printers go through Nozzle It All for Desktop on your own computer. Stock-firmware U1 printers can be monitored and sent jobs over your network; features that stock firmware only offers through Snapmaker's cloud aren't available in the browser.
